About me and my interest in Asterisk
I work at a VoIP carrier and maintain too many trunks to count, too many managed PBX's to count, too many users to deal with and am pushing a constant 45Mbps worth of VoIP traffic. I use a combination of Asterisk, PBXnSIP, CCM, Lucent, Avaya, you name it I deal with it solutions daily. I maintain a couple of session border controllers (Audiocodes' Netrake), routers, firewalls, etc., and have written my own VoIP based IPS

Welcome to the group! Thanks for writing a little blog for us! I did think you underestimated the importance of QoS but you definitely made a great point about how multiple carriers all have their own rules. Do you work with Asterisk yourself? Cheers - Aaron
